Feel Beautiful in your closet

How to Feel Beautiful (and Inspired) in your Closet

Closets are typically the one place that we tend to pack full of things we don’t use. They are one of the most cluttered places in our home. Unfortunately, this is a recipe for disaster not just physically but emotionally as well.

Closets house our clothes, purses, jewelry and all the things that make us feel beautiful.

Create a space here that inspires and makes you feel beautiful!

This is so important when it comes to creating a life you really want. Often, what we shove into our closet is what we are not dealing with emotionally. Things and emotions tend to pile up really fast and before you know it you have created a stagnant life and constipated your emotions by not dealing with what is in front of you.

Give your closet a good clean out with the intention of using that closet as a space for inspiration and beauty. This will not only help you feel better about yourself physically, it will help you deal with any emotions you may have put to the side as well.

A Few More Tips…

The closet is a fantastic place for meditation, reflection and inspiration. If you don’t have a walk-in closet you can still create something beautiful here. Check out my Pinterest (to the right) for some great ideas! There are so many amazing things you can do for your closet even if you have the smallest closet ever.

Closets are very important for children as well; make sure to keep your little ones’ closets organized and clothes hung where they can reach them.

Guest room closets should always stay bare, (for the most part) so your guests have a place to put their things. It’s always nice to keep fresh sheets and towels in your guest room closets so your loved ones feel important and connected to you and your home. You want your guests to feel at home in your home…

Inspired? Send me some pics of your closet re-do I would love to see!
